Crank post 1
I really like this book because I can relate to it. On my fathers side of the family there has been many people that have abused drugs, like Bree's father doing coke at the bowling alley and not coming home on time, if at all. My grandfather was a lot like Bree's father in many ways by not coming home the night he geos out and letting his faimily fend for themselves. I freel for bree a and the pain she goes through every day and that she got into the drugs which I thought that she had a strong enough will not to get caught up in the drugs that Adam and her father are in.
The theme of crank can connect to kids these days because of the way it is written. It is easy for kids to read and very easy for them to relate to it becuase the main character is a teen ager that falls into the wrong croud and gets into drugs. This happens to many teens in there life becuase of the friends they choose. The book is written in poem form which makes its really easy and fast to read which kids like. Kids these days do not want to read a book that is 200 pages but if it is set up like crank is they will read it because it does not take forever.
